Handmade Hammered and Stamped Jewelry
Here at Desert Studio Jewelry, our designs are influenced by minimalist shapes, nature, a sense of place, and travel. We love making jewelry that is meaningful to people, from inspirational and encouraging words on bracelets and necklaces, to anniversary jewelry, mother and grandmother jewelry, jewelry commemorating important people, places, and times. We always welcome custom orders, and are happy to work with you to design your meaningful jewelry.
Desert Studio Jewelry is the work of myself (Rachel) and my husband, Levi. We hand make all of the jewelry you see here in our home studio in Carson City, Nevada.
Both Levi and I have always been makers of one kind or another. I started making jewelry at an early age, including some sweet macrame hemp necklaces in high school. My jewelry has come a long way since those yin-yang beaded necklaces. Levi and I are almost entirely self-taught, focusing on cold metal-working techniques like hammering, stamping, and some forming. We use materials that strike a balance between feeling luxurious and being affordable enough for every day - sterling silver, gold-filled, and rose gold-filled.
Here at Desert Studio Jewelry, we pride ourselves in top quality work and top quality customer service. Our #1 priority is our customer's satisfaction. We typically ship items within 2 days, and all items are packaged in a gift box with a bow, ready for gift giving. We also value environmental sustainability, and are constantly working toward reducing waste and using recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging. Additionally, much of the sterling silver we use is produced using recycled sterling silver.
